A Gainesville lawyer and former Hall County judge has died. David Burroughs passed away Feb. 5 at the age of 78 following an extended illness.
Burroughs was a graduate of Madison County High School, who earned degrees from Emory University and the University of Georgia School of Law.
In addition to his private law practice, he once served as a Hall County Magistrate Court judge.
The funeral will be at 11:30 March 28 at Gainesville First United Methodist Church.
