
Two men remained in the Hall County Jail late Monday afternoon following their arrests in connection with a burglary at a business on Winder Highway.
HALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:
“The…investigation began on Thursday…when (detectives) received a tip about the possible burglary of a building at Caffeine and Octane Lanier Raceway… Investigators notified the property owner who later confirmed a building on the property had indeed been broken into. Investigators believe it happened between (last) Tuesday and Thursday.
(Investigators) worked with the HCSO Forensic Intelligence Center to identify a possible suspect, Silas Jamal Danielson, 18, of Jefferson. Investigators met with Danielson at his residence and recovered a go kart stolen during the burglary. They obtained warrants and arrested him on Thursday evening for second-degree burglary and theft by taking, both felonies.
During the ongoing investigation, investigators identified a second suspect in the case. They arrested Peyton Thomas Shane Townley, 19, of Flowery Branch, early Friday morning…at his residence. Townley is charged with second-degree burglary (felony) in the case.
Both men were booked into the Hall County Jail. Danielson is being held on $8,100 bond, while Townley’s bond is $5,700.”
