A large multinational clinical trial has found that giving health care providers access to European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) patient-reported outcome (PRO) data significantly improves the consistency of how treatment-related side effects are assessed in patients with cancer. The findings highlight the importance of integrating the patient’s voice into routine clinical evaluations and cancer research.
