Who Is Carson Beck’s Ex-Girlfriend? All About His Relationship with Hanna Cavinder

Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder have moved on from each other.

The former college athletes sparked dating rumors when they were seen together in the background of a TikTok video posted in July 2024. Cavinder and Beck went Instagram official a couple of weeks later, and the then-NCAA quarterback confirmed the relationship during an interview with ESPN in August 2024.

Beck was a two-time conference champion quarterback with the University of Georgia before committing to the University of Miami in January 2025, while Cavinder and her twin sister, Haley Cavinder, returned to the University of Miami for their fifth season following a brief retirement.

Cavinder and Beck went on to frequently post about each other on social media, in addition to attending their different games when possible. But by that spring, Cavinder unfollowed Beck, and she confirmed their breakup in April 2025.

Six months later, Beck spoke about their split for the first time, telling ESPN in October 2025 that it had been “difficult” for him.

She and Beck first sparked relationship rumors on TikTok

Over the 2024 Fourth of July weekend, Beck and Cavinder were spotted together in the background of a TikTok posted on Cavinder and her sister’s shared public account.

The video showed Haley and her now-fiancé, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, before it panned to Beck and Cavinder, who were steps behind them. Beck had his arm around Cavinder, who was wearing a Georgia Bulldogs baseball hat.

They confirmed their relationship in July 2024

Beck and Cavinder went Instagram official on July 21, 2024, when he posted a since-deleted carousel on Instagram, which included them together.

They were captured holding hands and looking at each other as they walked down a sandy road.

During an interview with ESPN in August 2024, Beck officially confirmed that he and Cavinder were in a relationship.

She made the first move over Instagram

In January 2025, Cavinder posted an Instagram video, featuring her getting ready for a double date, and she opened up about how she and Beck met.

The basketball star revealed that they were both with the same marketing agency when Beck’s name was mentioned. Afterward, she looked at Instagram and decided to “[shoot] her shot first.”

“He dm’d me ‘yo’ in 2021,’ so then I decided to dm him back, ‘yo’ in 2024.’ So that’s kinda how we started,” she said in the clip.

They supported each other at games

Beck and Cavinder showed up for each other on the sidelines and from afar when they couldn’t travel to games.

Cavinder was seen at a few Georgia games during the 2024-2025 season. She later posted a since-removed Instagram video of herself and Beck doing a secret handshake, as well as photos of her wearing a red Beck T-shirt.

Even when Cavinder couldn’t physically be in Georgia, the NCAA guard still supported him, rocking a cropped black Beck tee for his week 5 game against the University of Alabama.

“POV you have to rep bae from [afar]. Let’s go Quince,” she wrote on TikTok, according to Sports Illustrated.

Beck made it to Florida, too. He was spotted by Cavinder’s side after Miami beat the University of Virginia Cavaliers in Coral Gables, Fla., in January 2025.

The Cavinder twins also posted now-deleted pictures on social media of Haley’s boyfriend and Beck at one of their Miami games, with both men wearing Cavinder T-shirts.

Her twin sister seemingly alluded to their breakup in March 2025

In March 2025, fans noticed that Cavinder unfollowed Beck on Instagram and removed their photos together. Shortly after, Cavinder’s twin sister, Haley, posted a cryptic TikTok in which she mentioned speaking candidly about relationships.

“If your sister comes to you or your friend or someone that’s really important in your life and they have a gut feeling about a relationship or a friendship, for example, and they just tell you that on a repeated basis, trust your dang sister,” Haley said.

She continued, in part, “It’s not my story to tell, but yeah. I know there’s a lot of speculation, and I see someone in my life that’s hurting.”

The following month, Cavinder confirmed that she and Beck were no longer dating, according to Fox News.

Beck spoke about his former relationship with Cavinder in October 2025

In a conversation with ESPN in October 2025, Beck addressed his breakup with Cavinder for the first time. The college football star shared that they hadn’t spoken since their split, and it had “been difficult” over the past few months.

“You make mistakes as a person, but it sucks that you have to go through something like that with someone that you care about, and now it’s all over the Internet,” he told the outlet.

Beck continued, “Half of what you see in the media is true. Half of what you see is not true. So, people pick their side of the story and run with it. The people that know the truth know the truth.”

“I’ve been able to connect to myself more, and find who I am, and really do some soul searching,” he concluded.
