It has now been a year since 62-year-old Marie Campbell disappeared and the Banks County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is not saying much about the investigation into her disappearance.
Campbell has been missing since Jan. 6, 2025. An Internet search Monday turned up nothing new regarding the case. In fact, all of the search results were dated January 2025 or February 2025.
February is when her son, Jason Campbell, was arrested and charged with Concealing a Death.
“Banks County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to request the public’s assistance in locating Marie Campbell,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement at that time. “This remains an active investigation. Her last known location has been narrowed down to Bennett Road on Monday, January 6, 2025.”
Emails seeking an update on the investigation last week were not answered by a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office.
