*Atlanta-based Delta Airlines is resuming flights to the Caribbean. The FAA closed Caribbean airspace after Saturday’s attack on Venezuela. The ban was lifted Sunday.

*Atlanta was the scene of some protests this weekend against any U.S. involvement in Venezuela. The AJC says around 100 people showed up at Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park to voice their opposition to the U.S. removal of Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro from power on Saturday. President Trump said the U.S. would be running the South American country until a proper transition.

*There’s a new animal record in middle Georgia’s Crawford County. A donkey there holds the new Guinness World Record for the longest ears. The donkey is a rescue animal from Arkansas named Hope. Hope’s ears measure nearly 16 inches and beat the former title holder – a donkey in the U-K – by 2 inches.
