Both Georgia and Ole Miss may have arrived in New Orleans prior to Tuesday, but it’s safe to say that the tempo has picked up a few notches, with each team practicing on-site and a wide net of media for both teams.

That practice window, of course, meant the return of a UGA postseason practice tradition:

But in even more critical news, Tuesday evening’s availability report did NOT include Ethan Barbour or Colbie Young. That for all intents points toward both being additional weapons for Georgia on New Year’s night.

One challenge for Georgia against Ole Miss? A layoff from actual game action compared to Ole Miss’ first-round game..in theory..against Tulane. Kirby Smart details how the Bulldogs are adapting.

It may be jumping in the portal season, but Georgia backup quarterback Ryan Puglisi is not partaking. Heaven forbid a 2026 injury to Gunner Stockton, but if that is the case, having your next guy up one who’s been a few years in the QB room is a huge plus.

Once Georgia football’s “Ginger Ninja,” Joe Cox has moved up the SEC coaching ranks, now balancing the present at Ole Miss and future at LSU. The Banner-Herald was able to catch up with the former Bulldog signal-caller.

Dontrell Glover’s rise may be surprise in terms of offensive line depth compared to the preseason. Among those surprised? Glover himself.

Anyway, here’s to hoping for happy music to drive the Rebels out of Crescent City on a rail like former Governor hopeful Homer Stokes

Go Dawgs!
