The BLITZ Boys Basketball Players of the Week are Landon Lee (Dawson), Jake Mihalick (Habersham), and Judge Wilbanks (Habersham). Lee won the Fan Vote with 2,698 of the 4,829 total votes. Mihalick and Wilbanks were the BLITZ Picks.
LANDON LEE – DAWSON COUNTY
Landon Lee continues to lift Dawson County this season. The senior guard averaged 22.5 points, 2.5 boards, and 1.0 steals per game last week for the Tigers while taking his second POW award.
JAKE MIHALICK – HABERSHAM CENTRAL
No doubt about it, Jake Mihalick might just be the best prospect in our area for the next level. The senior forward averaged 20.5 points and 15.0 rebounds per game last week, adding a ridiculous 6.5 blocks and 5.5 assists. This is his first POW award.
JUDGE WILBANKS – HABERSHAM CENTRAL
Judge Wilbanks was good for 28.0 points and 18.0 rebounds last week for the #10-ranked Raiders. The Habersham Central senior forward even had 38 points against Stephens County, and also averaged 4.5 assists and 2.5 blocks. This is his first POW award.
