“Living Untethered” Author Michael Singer Announces “Wisdom Untethered” — See the Cover! (Exclusive)

Michael A. Singer has more wisdom to share. 

PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the cover of Wisdom Untethered: The Time for Questions, out next year from New Harbinger Publications. 

Singer’s anticipated book will help readers navigate common life challenges, such as finding peace and letting go of emotional pain. 

“Singer explores the universal struggles we all face, such as the need to control, the fear of change and surrender and the illusion that peace lies somewhere outside of ourselves,” the book’s official synopsis reads.

“With clarity and compassion, he reveals that spiritual growth isn’t about fixing your outer life — it’s about releasing what blocks you from the love, clarity and freedom that is already within you,” the description continues. 

The spiritual guide, according to the synopsis, “is an invitation to stop struggling and start allowing.”

Singer, 78, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement that he was encouraged by others to write the book after the release of his 2007 book The Untethered Soul.

“Since the release of The Untethered Soul, I have received many requests for how to apply the deep spiritual teachings to everyday life,” he says. “I am excited about Wisdom Untethered because it directly addresses questions about work, relationships, decision making, desires and preferences, and how to grow through all of life’s experiences.”

The Untethered Soul, a #1 New York Times bestseller, encouraged readers to transform their relationship with themselves through meditation and mindfulness. Singer wrote a continuation in 2022 called Living Untethered.

The Untethered Soul has been praised by Oprah, who told the author in a 2022 interview that it is “one of the most important books of my spiritual growth and development.”

Singer summarized his philosophy in the interview, saying, “The meaning of your life is to let go of the darkness, the disturbances and the blockages that you’ve stored inside.”

The author has also published The Surrender Experiment: My Journey into Life’s Perfection in 2015, Three Essays on Universal Law in 1975 and The Search for Truth in 1974.

Wisdom Untethered: The Time for Questions will be published on March 16, 2026 and is now available for preorder, wherever books are sold.
