Top 90 fantasy football standard RBs for Week 15

The first round of the fantasy football playoffs is here. This is it. There is no turning back. Well, you could just shut off your computer and phone and mailbox and television and never leave your house while you subsist on ramen for the next 50 years, but I think it makes more sense to face your fears and play some fantasy football instead. If you’re down with that, here are my running back rankings for standard scoring settings.

Week 15 byes

None.

RB streamer of the week

Chris Rodriguez, Commanders vs Giants

Rodriguez continues to get the lead role in the backfield, but total touches also continue to be low with 12 and 10 the last two weeks. He has managed a touchdown and 4.4 yards per carry against the Broncos and the Vikings. This week he gets a much easier matchup against the Giants extremely poor run defense.

RB injuries

De’Von Achane, Dolphins

Achane exited last Week’s game with a rib injury and didn’t return. The good news is that his coach did say he could have returned if needed. The Dolphins play the Steelers on Monday night, so he’ll get a little extra time to heal, but hopefully we’ll know if he’s playing by the time we have to set our lineups on Sunday. Jaylen Wright played well in his absence, but those in fantasy playoffs sure would like Achane in their lineups.

Trey Benson, Cardinals

Benson was injured in Week 4 and underwent arthroscopic surgery on his meniscus. He was able to get in limited practices over the last few weeks, but he needs to be activated from I.R. this week or he’s done for the season.

Keaton Mitchell, Ravens

Mitchell was forced from last week’s game with a knee injury and didn’t return. The injury is considered minor, but that doesn’t mean he won’t miss this week. He hasn’t really been startable in fantasy, but we saw last week that it doesn’t take many touches for him to put up good yardage.

Alvin Kamara, Saints

Kamara suffered an MCL sprain in Week 12 and missed Week 13n and 14. Devin Neal has taken over the lead role in his place. He wasn’t placed on I.R., so it seems like he should have a chance to return, but he hasn’t practiced yet. He’ll likely need to get a full practice in to be ready to go this week against the Panthers.
