Police have released the names of those shot and killed by a man in southern Gwinnett County Friday night.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said the two found shot and killed inside a vehicle at a location on Harbins Road near Harbins Point Lane in Lilburn have been identified as Jesua Valesca Garcia Perez, age 17, and Javier Hernandez Martinez, age 28, both of Norcross.
Police said Javier Aragon Ruiz, age 54, was in the car with the two when he got into an argument, pulled out a gun and shot both in the car.
“He then walked to 3205 Windscape Village Lane where he attempted to shoot Soamia Garcia Perez, but the gun did not fire,” police said in a statement. “Aragon Ruiz then attacked Jace Corley with a knife, causing a potential life-threatening laceration to the neck. He then fled the area.”
Ruiz would be found and arrested soon after in Tennessee. Gwinnett Police say Ruiz was a known associate of the four victims, although they are still investigating the motives for the attack.

A man was arrested in Tennessee after two people were found shot and killed in southern Gwinnett County late Friday night.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said officers were called to the Sterling Glen Apartments off of Indian Trail Lilburn Road near Norcross just after 10:00 p.m. Friday, December 5.
“When officers arrived on scene they located a male with a wound on his neck and a witness,” a release from the police department said. “While on scene, officers were notified of a vehicle occupied by two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle near Harbins Rd and Harbins Point Ln in Lilburn.”
The two found in that vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene, and the two scenes were determined to be related. Investigators then identified the suspect in the case as Javier Aragon Ruiz, age 54, and discovered he was traveling in Tennessee.
Tennessee State Troopers then reportedly found Ruiz and arrested him, booking him into the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office in Springfield, Tennessee.
