BUFORD, Ga. — Buford opened its Region 8-6A schedule with an 89-54 win over Mountain View at The Buford Arena on Thursday.
The game was originally scheduled for Friday but was moved since the Buford football team will be playing in Valdosta on Friday in the state semifinals.
Buford (3-1, 1-0 Region 8-6A) got 25 points from Carmelo Williams to lead the way. Dillon Nixon added 20 points for the Wolves.
Mountain View (1-9, 0-1 Region 8-6A) was by Victor Guerrero with 11 points.
Buford next will travel to Collins Hill on Tuesday in another key region battle.
