As an ode to Leon Bridges‘ 2015 song “Coming Home,” the singer has teamed up with Norah Jones for a soulful Christmas song “This Christmas I’m Coming Home.”
In the song, Jones, 46, and Bridges, 36, take turns singing about coming home for the holidays.
“I wanna leave the world behind for now / And forget about the trouble on my mind,” the pair sings. “I can sit by the fire and lose myself for a while/ And remember what was so hard to find.”
The song was the first of two holiday singles for Bridges, who also released “A Merry Black Christmas” on Nov. 14.

Elizabeth Chan
Merry Bright Music
Elizabeth Chan is getting unhinged this Christmas.
On Nov. 7, Chan released her 15th studio album Christmas Unhinged. This time, however, she’s singing about being newly single during the holidays.
“For years, I was the person writing songs about picture-perfect Christmases,” Chan, who was married for 20 years, said in a press release. “And then my marriage ended, and I realized — nobody’s writing songs for this Christmas. The one where you’re figuring out new traditions, navigating dating apps for the first time in two decades, and trying to explain to your kids why we’re doing things differently this year.”
“I think a lot of us feel like we’re supposed to have it all figured out—especially during the holidays,” Chan added. “But what if we just admitted that we’re all winging it? That some of us are swiping right between wrapping presents, wondering if we’ll ever find someone who gets it. This album is for all of us who are rewriting our stories and refusing to apologize for it.”

Adding, “‘SANTA’ has been such a gift at this moment in my life; creating a song that moves me so deeply and sharing it with my loving fans is a privilege. They’re the reason I keep reinventing myself — but above all, why I continue to create from the heart, with honesty and real emotion.”
