Auburn commit Jenna Rapp is now the back-to-back BLITZ Player of the Year for softball. The junior continues to dazzle on the diamond as a hitter and fielder, putting so many school records far out of reach.

These are video game type of numbers. In 102 plate appearances, Rapp posted a .686 OBP and .630 AVG (both school records). She broke her own school records in homeruns (16) and runs (39), and drove in 35 runs with 12 doubles and five triples. Just insane!

Jenna Rapp earned 12 1st-place votes to run away with this one. Izzy Anthros notched a couple though, while three others had one apiece.

Rapp is the first to repeat as POY since Jessica Morgan in 2017, but first to go back-to-back since Laken Chambers in 2014-15. Rapp is the only one from Jefferson to earn it, and one of three different pure shortstops to win the hardware.
