The BLITZ Girls Basketball Players of the Week are Ivey Jackson (Stephens County), Taylor Clark (Commerce), and Regan Trlica (Union County). Jackson won the Fan Vote with 15,731 of the 43,472 total votes. Clark and Trlica were the BLITZ Picks.
IVEY JACKSON – STEPHENS COUNTY
Ivey Jackson notched a double-double last week for Stephens County. The senior center for the Lady Indians went for 23 points and 10 rebounds, earning her first POW award.
TAYLOR CLARK – COMMERCE
Taylor Clark comes to Commerce from Lakeview, and has made an immediate impact for the Lady Tigers. The junior guard scored 16 points while adding eight steals, six assists, and three rebounds in last week’s win. This is her first POW award.
REGAN TRLICA – UNION COUNTY
Union County’s Regan Trlica is clearly a gifted basketball player. The junior guard dropped in 22 points, adding nine rebounds, seven steals, and three assists for the Lady Panthers. This is her first POW award.
