Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue this afternoon with a bitter NFC East rivalry showdown featuring the Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Dallas Cowboys at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Eagles were able to grind out a 16-9 victory over the Lions last Sunday night, a game where they produced just 272 yards of total offense in the win. Wide receiver Jahan Dotson lent a hand in that win and we’ll see if he can step up in this important divisional matchup.
Below, we’ll go over Dotson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles WR Jahan Dotson
Dotson caught both of his targets for 43 yards in last Sunday’s victory over the Lions. He actually finished with six less yards than leading receiver A.J. Brown for the game and despite the general success of the Eagles this season, offensive struggles continue to be the main talking point for the defending Super Bowl champions in late November.
As for Dotson, the fourth-year receiver only has 10 catches for the year, but has made them count with 194 yards and a touchdown for his stat line. That makes for a 19.4 yards per catch average and that big-play ability is reflected by him being ranked ninth in ADOT among receivers with at least 100 routes run this season.
Start or sit in Week 12?
Sit. Matchup-wise, starting Dotson is tempting as he’s going up a Cowboys defense that has been lit up throughout the season, yielding the fourth-most passing yards heading into Week 12. However, I don’t want anything to do with this Eagles passing game right now and starting any of their receivers is a risky proposition at this point. Pass.
