Two people from Cleveland arrested for marijuana possession

Two people from Cleveland were arrested after White County authorities found over four pounds of marijuana during a search.

The White County Sheriff’s Office said deputies stopped the vehicle of Terrie Datyl Lingerfelt, 52, and during the traffic stop, they found methamphetamine and marijuana. 

A search was conducted at Lingerfelts’ home on Luther Palmer Road, where deputies found 4.5 pounds of marijuana, a Schedule IV controlled substance and several drug-related objects.

Lauren Adams, 40, was at the home at the time, and she was arrested. 

Lingerfelt was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug-related objects. 

Adams was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute,  possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug-related objects.
