Disneyland ‘MAGA Invasion’ Organizers Reveal Unsanctioned Plans to ‘Trigger’ Guests and ‘Make Disney Great Again’

A conservative group located in Southern California has released their plans for a “MAGA Invasion” of Disneyland.

“Give your family a chance to experience Disney on a day with as many like minded patriots [as] possible,” the 805 Patriots group wrote in a Nov. 19 Facebook post.

The organization, named after California’s central coast region’s area code, organizes local events and sells merchandise for their demonstrations. The group has more than 32,000 followers on Instagram and 11,000 followers on TikTok.

The unsanctioned, unofficial gathering will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, according to the group’s infographic posted on Wednesday, November 19. Though, an official agenda will be shared closer to the event, they say.

“Wear a ‘patriots in the park’ T-shirt & a red MAGA hat,” the post instructs its followers. “Ordering a shirt is an RSVP that y’all bought tickets to Disney.”

However, attendees are discouraged from bringing any MAGA flags as the park officially prohibits them.

On the group’s website, they are selling navy blue t-shirts, hoodies, kids shirts, and baby onesies with their “Make Disney Great Again” design. The front features a “bold silhouette of a Revolutionary War patriot waving the Betsy Ross flag in front of a reimagined Disney castle,” per the site.

In the Facebook comments, the organization gave some additional details about the reason for the event.

“We had a pole [sic] up on Instagram with our 32k followers for a MAGA invasion of an amusement park with Universal, Knott’s [Berry Farm], Six Flags & Disneyland, and Disneyland won with a few thousands votes,” they wrote.

Some commenters were concerned with paying for the tickets and sending their money to Disney, to which the organization said: “This is to go have some fun by triggering as many liberals as possible in their home turf as well as giving conservative families at least one chance to take their kids to Disneyland.”

While the Disneyland resort hosts a variety of events throughout the year, this gathering is not organized or endorsed by the park in any way. Fan organized events, like Dapper Days, Villains Days, and other unofficial themed meetups often attract their own crowds, but Disneyland reserves the right to deny guests entry based on their dress code or other rule violations.

Another group-led event, Gay Days Anaheim, also has plans for a Disneyland gathering on Feb. 28. The group’s website says “Mini Gay Days” will be back and will host meetups throughout the weekend.

Neither representatives for Disneyland nor the 805 Patriots Facebook page immediately responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
