Additionally, there is a combo option that pairs the rod with a size 20 spinning reel with a ported aluminum spool that makes a balanced, ready-to-go setup. And for anglers who want an option that is even more sensitive and refined, the new Ugly Stik Carbon kicks it up a notch, with a 100% 24-ton graphite blank for crisp action and dependable strength. These rods are fitted with Ugly Tuff guides that feature a proprietary corrosion-resistant coating. For the combo option, the Ugly Stik Carbon Ice is matched with a lightweight Abu Garcia spinning reel with 3+1 bearings, a machined aluminum spool, and a graphite body. Both of these rod options are backed by Ugly Stik’s industry-leading 10-year rod warranty.
