Sunday’s “DVOA Bowl” between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks lived up to the pregame hype, as the battle between two of the top teams in the NFC came down to the final play. Seattle kicker Jason Myers missed a 61-yard field goal attempt on the game’s final snap as the Rams held on for a 21-19 win.
The game also saw some NFL history made in the first quarter.

The next player that could reach that list? Baltimore Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who has 997 career catches. Hopkins moved to within three receptions of the 1,000-reception club with one catch Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Hopkins and the Ravens host the New York Jets next week. Over his lengthy NFL career, Hopkins has played four games against the Jets, catching 22 passes for 428 yards and five touchdowns.
If you are wondering what younger players have a shot at the 1,000-reception club, Stefon Diggs is next on the list of active players with 916 receptions. While he is not the next active player on the list after Diggs, Justin Jefferson already has 551 receptions over five-plus seasons in the NFL.
