Liam Gallagher is sharing how the Oasis reunion tour saved his life.

On Nov. 9, the 53-year-old British rocker — and co-frontman of Oasis with brother Noel Gallagher — posted on X and spoke about how beneficial it was to quit cigarettes and alcohol for the duo’s blockbuster reunion tour.

“You’ve done a great job staying healthy for the gigs, Liam,” one fan wrote on the platform. “I’m sorry u have to live like a monk during the tour – but damn, you’re killing it!!  Thank you thank you thank you.”

Liam, 53, responded, “Oasis saved my life it’s about time I sorted my nappa [head] out I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting Gary baldies are sacrifices that needed to be made thems the rules MCFC.” (The singer’s reply ends with a shout-out to Manchester City Football Club, his hometown team.)

Another follower asked the singer if he misses the “occasional Guinness,” to which he replied, “Yeah I miss talking absolute b— when I’m bladdered.”

Earlier this year, Liam gave an update on quitting alcohol. He shared on X in March that he was doing well and he’s “not interested in the booze at the moment.”

“I’ve had enough,” he added.

The Oasis cofounder has spoken about drug and alcohol use in the past and told The Guardian in 2017 that if he could live his life over again, he’d “maybe rein it in on the drugs and drink.”

Liam also told the outlet he no longer uses recreational drugs “as much as I used to.”

“I don’t drink as much as I used to. Don’t smoke weed; bores the s— out of me,” he said at the time. “I smoke cigarettes but not a load — last week I didn’t smoke any! I’ve got a bit of discipline. But yeah, every now and then, it depends what’s going on.”

Liam and Noel Gallagher kicked off the Oasis Live ’25 Tour in July and will continue with shows through Nov. 23.
