Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue this afternoon with an NFC South showdown featuring the New Orleans Saints visiting the Carolina Panthers at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Saints were trashed by the Rams in a 34-10 last Sunday, falling to 1-8 on the year as they are currently on track to securing the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The team made a move this week by dealing wide receiver Rashid Shaheed to the Seahawks and that could open things up for Brandin Cooks in the New Orleans offense.

Below, we’ll go over Cooks’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 10.

Fantasy Football analysis: Saints WR Brandin Cooks

Cooks has been the third wide receiver option for the Saints this season and that was the case in their 24-point loss to the Rams last Sunday as he caught just two targets for 16 yards. The 32-year-old veteran has been dwarfed by Chris Olave, Juwan Johnson, and the aforementioned Shaheed in the number of looks he’s gotten this year, hauling in just 19 of 25 targets for 165 yards.

The Shaheed trade should open up more work for Cooks, who has actually been on the field for more than 60% of offensive snaps in all but two games this season. Whether or not that translates into a dramatic boost in production remains to be seen.

Sit. I have to actually see Cooks deliver a noteworthy performance in fantasy before I’d consider him for my lineup, but he’s someone to keep tabs on in the aftermath of the Shaheed trade. He’s currently rostered in just 2.2% of fantasy leagues, so a good performance here could put him on waiver wire radars for next week.

Sit.
