Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue this afternoon with an AFC South showdown featuring the Jacksonville Jaguars visiting the Houston Texans at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Jaguars were able to slip past the Raiders in a 30-29 overtime victory last week and find themselves in the thick of the AFC playoff race at the midway point of the season. The team decided to go find some wide receiver help at Tuesday’s trade deadline and will officially be deploying veteran Jakobi Meyers for the first time in today’s game.
Below, we’ll go over Meyers’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 10.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars WR Jakobi Meyers
The Jaguars acquired Meyers from the Raiders on Tuesday, sending a pair of 2026 Day-3 draft picks to Las Vegas in exchange. The veteran had requested a trade during training camp after he couldn’t come to an agreement with the Raiders for a new deal and will now have a fresh start with a franchise that would own the seventh and final playoff spot in the AFC if the regular season ended today.
With Travis Hunter currently on IR with a knee injury, the Jaguars brought Meyers in to plug the gap and complement Brian Thomas Jr. for the next few weeks. The veteran put up modest numbers as the Raiders’ No. 2 WR option this season, racking up 33 receptions for 352 receiving yards through seven games this season. We’ll see how quickly he can learn the offense and establish chemistry with Trevor Lawrence.

Sit. Meyers has only been with the team for a few days and while he should make some contributions to the offense in his Jags debut, I’m not expecting him to light the world on fire or anything. He’s still getting acclimated to the system, so it may take a week or two before everything fully clicks.
