Georgia State Patrol (GSP) continues to investigate a multiple vehicle wreck that injured two drivers and blocked a state route in Habersham County Thursday morning.
Details were limited from Habersham County officials, who confirmed there was a crash on GA-17 after 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, November 6 near the intersections of Cool Springs Road near Clarkesville. Images from Rob Moore with the Sheriff’s Office show a passenger vehicle heavily damaged and a trash truck into a ditch along the embankment of GA-17. A release from HCSO would only add that the wreck sent two people to an undisclosed hospital with injuries, and that Georgia State Patrol is handling the investigation. Habersham officials were able to clear the roadway for travel within one hour of the wreck.
Officials from the GSP have told AccessWDUN that they are continuing their investigation for this incident and will provide further information once it becomes available.
