Georgia Update

Georgia survived yet another game, coming from behind to defeat Florida 24-20 in the Cocktail Party. The Dawgs came in at #5 in the initial College Football Playoff Rankings ahead of their trip to Starkville to take on Mississippi State.

CFP Playoff Odds

Our friends at FanDuel have listed their odds to make the College Football Playoffs here (as well as odds for this weekends games, the National Championship, and more). Texas A&M has the best odds in the SEC to make the CFP at -6000, with Georgia at -500 and Alabama at -850. Ole Miss, however, actually has the SEC’s second best odds at -1250 with their relatively easy schedule the rest of the way. Ole Miss continuing to win definitely helps Georgia’s chances and their seeding.

Top 25 Matchups

#7 BYU at #8 Texas Tech

#3 Texas A&M at #22 Missouri

#9 Oregon at #20 Iowa

Upset Special

Tulane (+5.5) at #22 Memphis

BYU (+9.5) at Texas Tech

I have to mention the BYU/Texas Tech game not because I’m taking the Cougars to win outright, but I do think it’ll be a close game in Lubbock. FanDuel has BYU getting 9.5, so give me the Cougs and the points.

Tulane, however, will bounce back against Memphis on the road. FanDuel has the Green Wave at +168 to win outright.
