HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A midday fire left a Hall County home in ruins Tuesday, displacing two adults and their dog.

Just after noon, Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 4700 block of Highway 52 to find a single-story home with a basement fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews immediately pulled a hose line and began attacking the blaze from outside the structure.

Firefighters knocked down the bulk of the flames quickly, but the home was declared a total loss. A vehicle parked in the driveway was also destroyed.

The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents and their pet, according to Hall County Fire Rescue spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office. No injuries were reported.
