The BLITZ Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week after Week Eleven are Dawson County’s front five for the O-Line and Jacob Nicholson (Towns County) for the D-Line.
DAWSON COUNTY O-LINE
The front five for the Tigers got it done in a major way on the road no less. Dawson’s O-Line, featuring SR LT Nathan Martin, JR LG Brody Schuette, SO C Landon Curry, JR RG Cadin Sasser, and RT Luke Herring paved the way for 265 rushing yards and didn’t allow a single sack. Notable drives that all ended in TDs included: 11-play drive for 55 yards, 11 plays for 91 yards, nine plays for 74 yards, and a back-breaking 12-play, 86-yd drive that clinched the win.
JACOB NICHOLSON – TOWNS COUNTY
Towns County’s Jacob Nicholson had 14 tackles (two for loss) and a QBH in the Indians’ big Week 11 win. This is the senior’s third career POW award.
