Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue this afternoon with an AFC South showdown featuring the Tennessee Titans visiting the Indianapolis Colts at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Titans showed some brief glimpses of life under interim head coach Mike McCoy last Sunday, but eventually fizzled in a 31-13 loss to the Patriots. Wide receiver Chimere Dike at least stepped up in that first half and we’ll see if the rookie can build off that performance this week.

Below, we’ll go over Dike’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 8.

Fantasy Football analysis: Titans WR Chimere Dike

Dike had four receptions for 70 yards and a first-quarter touchdown in last week’s loss to the Patriots, by far marking his best performance of the season so far. It was the first real breakout receiving game for the fourth-round rookie out of Florida as he’s been mostly make a mark as a returner for the Titans’ special teams. Because he get so many opportunities at kick returns because of the Titans’ defense, he actually leads the NFL in all-purpose yards heading into Week 8.

Tennessee is at a point of simplifying things on offense for No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward and making sure that he’s progressing with each week. That development includes getting his fellow rookie playmakers like Dike and Elic Ayomanor more involved and we may see the wideout get more work in the coming weeks.

Sit. Dike’s first-half performance last week was promising, but I need to see more before I’d feel comfortable considering him for a Flex spot. He is someone I’d be looking out for as a potential waiver stash, so I’d pay attention to what he does against the Colts this afternoon.
