A Flowery Branch woman was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 22, for allegedly writing false prescriptions for several medications.
The Flowery Branch Police Department said Ashley Dean, 34, issued a total of 37 fraudulent prescriptions under her name over 10 months.
Through the investigation, it was determined that Dean would have the prescriptions filled at a local Flowery Branch pharmacy.
Dean was booked into the Hall County Jail on 37 counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraudulent means.
She remains in jail with no bond.
