Jennifer Aniston is spilling the behind-the-scenes details on her recent viral moment with Courteney Cox.

While speaking with PEOPLE about her Pvolve partnership, Aniston, 56, explained how the sweet moment she styled her BFF’s hair for her brand LolaVie came to be.

“I just said please. Well, I just begged her,” the Morning Show star jokes. “I said, ‘First of all, you have all these products in your bathroom and you don’t use them, and you’re just so lazy when it comes to your hair.'”

The actress said that the collaboration happened when she spent the weekend at Cox’s house.

“We just had fun playing,” Aniston recalls. “She’s so much better at doing [social media] than I am, so it made it more fun for me. It just felt like we were having more fun together than me sitting in my bathroom making a video.”

In the clip, which was posted to LolaVie’s social media accounts on Friday, Sept. 5, Aniston uses the products from her haircare line to give Cox a bit of glam.

“This is the greatest day of my life. I get to finally blow-dry Courteney’s hair,” Aniston says as the Scream star, 61, sits in her styling chair.

Aniston first sprays Cox’s hair with LolaVie’s Glossing Detangler, which she says she’s always wanted to do “because she has this gorgeous head of hair, but there tends to be frizz on top.”

“I don’t brush my hair, so the fact that you can get that comb through it like that is really a miracle,” Cox remarks.

Aniston moves onto the blow-drying phase using LolaVie’s Peptide Pumping Spray to give Cox some added “lift.”

They finish it off with LolaVie’s Lightweight Hair Oil before posing together for the camera.

“the one where @jenniferaniston does @courteneycoxofficial‘s hair for our 4th birthday 🙌 🎂 (and just in time for our birthday sale where everything is 20% off at LolaVie.com 😌),” the caption reads.

In an Aug. 5 interview with PEOPLE, Aniston announced the 12th product in LolaVie’s line — the LolaVie Powder Perfect Dry Shampoo, which she called “a little Swiss Army knife.”

“We wanted it to be a product that did more than just mask oil. It gives the roots a little lift,” Aniston told PEOPLE.
