What Was Hugh Freeze Thinking?

It’s that time again. Time to ask the question we ask every Sunday morning.

No, not ““why do bad things happen to good people?” or “why do good things happen to Auburn fans, I mean, bad people?”

No, it’s time to ask: what was Hugh Freeze thinking?

You know the moment. Another college football classic is drawing to a close, and as is usually the case one team has to win and the other just has to lose. The camera pans to the head coach of the team in the latter camp.

“Pat Dye’s recruiting slush fund!” you exclaim, what must that guy be thinking? In Coach Freeze’s case, I have some ideas. Ladies and gents, this was Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze in the waning moments night’s 20-10 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs:

What. Was. Hugh. Freeze. Thinking?

a) “Not looking forward to this press conference. Haven’t Ben this uncomfortable in a conversation since my wife asked how I got glitter on my cheek during a recruiting trip.”

b) “We’re approaching that point where there are more buses coming toward me than there are people for me to throw under them.”

c) “Note to self… need to drop my clubs off to be regripped, feel like I’m about to be spending a lot of time with them.”

d) “Dear Lord! What did I do to deserve this?!?!? No wait don’t answer that!!!!”

As always we’d love to hear your suggestions in the comments.

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
