The dust has settled from Sunday’s afternoon of celebrations in Gainesville for the annual Christmas on Green Street festivities. Now, the awards and accolades have been announced from the parade float entrants for 2025.
The social media page for Downtown Gainesville announced Monday afternoon that the votes have been tallied and announced after reviewing more than 150 float entrants in the parade. Main Street Gainesville, Downtown Gainesville and the city’s officials also thanked everyone who participated and helped make this year’s parade a memorable and magical one.
Participants were judged upon within the, “Best Float” and “Best Antique” categories Sunday afternoon. A link to view photos of the award winners can be found here. The list of winners chosen by the Christmas on Green Street panel went as follows:
