On Saturday, April 25, Toccoa Mayor Evan Hellenga attended Toccoa Tour’s Easy Company Heritage Weekend at Camp Toccoa at Currahee. During Monday night’s (April 27, 2026) meeting of the Toccoa City Commission, he told the story of meeting the daughter of a World War II veteran, one of the Toccoa Men.
The new artifacts will soon be displayed at the Camp Toccoa at Currahee Museum.
