The BLITZ Golfers of the Week are Pearl Hughes (Dawson) and Tenley Maney (Banks).
PEARL HUGHES – DAWSON COUNTY
Unbelievable! Pearl Hughes became the 3A State Champion, and shot 4-under (32) on the back nine of the final round to win by a couple of strokes. She tallied a 148! She recorded an eagle on the par-5 #16 as part of the legendary performance. She’s the reigning BLITZ Golfer of the Year.
TENLEY MANEY – BANKS COUNTY
Tenley Maney paced the Lady Leopards to a State Championship! The sophomore carded a 169 over the 2-day tournament, finishing 3rd individually in the process. This is her second POW award.
