With the Hall County Commission already formally objecting to it, citizen opposition is mounting to the proposed annexation of a tract of land on Sasser Road by Flowery Branch.
“Reject annexation, protect our community!” declares a social media posting by the citizens group Hall Informed. “Show up May 7, 2026, 6:00 PM at Flowery Branch City Hall.”
The annexation was approved on first reading several weeks ago. Approval on second reading would clear the way for the developers to proceed with the construction of a 198-unit housing development.
