NEED TO KNOW

  • Sophie Rain is an OnlyFans model and content creator with over 21 million followers on TikTok and Instagram alone
  • She has made $85 million gross since starting her page in late 2023
  • Now the 21-year-old is determined to make a change with her massive profit

In October 2025, Florida-based OnlyFans model Sophie Rain donated around $121,000 of her subscription earnings to Feeding America, a nonprofit network fighting hunger in the United States.

Her donation was raised in just 24 hours after telling subscribers that she would donate every penny earned on Sept. 30 to the organization.

“I decided from the start that 100% of what I made would go straight to Feeding America,” Rain tells PEOPLE exclusively.

According to the organization’s website, they can turn just one dollar into “at least 10 meals” for those in need, meaning the 21-year-old’s contribution helped provide food for close to 1.2 million people.

However, Rain’s act of generosity wasn’t random. She reveals that it stemmed from having personally experienced food insecurity growing up.

The adult content creator initially launched a #GoonForGood campaign in September as a “joke,” but little did she know that it would actually stick.

“It started as a birthday thing,” Rain says. “Honestly, I joked with fans that we could ‘goon for good’ and raise money while doing what they were already doing.”

Instead, she ended up raising more than she ever imagined for people struggling to put meals on the table.

“I know what it’s like to open the fridge and not have much there,” Rain shares. “I know what it’s like to see your parents stress about groceries, and make the choice between paying rent or feeding the family.”

In December 2024, Rain told PEOPLE she grew up poor in a devout Christian household that often lived off food stamps.

Having witnessed hardship firsthand and seen friends face similar challenges over the years, Rain is now motivated to give back to her family, as well as those experiencing the same struggles today.

“Food insecurity doesn’t care what job you have or who you are,” Rain emphasizes. “As long as I continue to make money, I will continue to donate.”

As of September 2025, she has made $85.4 million gross. According to one of her managers, Rain is expecting to close out the year at $110 million, which would make her the highest-earning OnlyFans creator.

Feeding America has yet to publicly confirm Rain’s donation or respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

While this isn’t the first time she’s given back – in August, Rain pledged $1 million to a clean water initiative led by YouTuber MrBeast – she is now determined to expand her efforts and continue raising funds for causes she is deeply passionate about.

Rain tells PEOPLE that she has already begun planning her next campaign, which will launch just in time for the holidays.

Despite criticism over combining adult content with charitable efforts, she remains unfazed and focused on using her platform to enact change.

“People already judge us. If you wait for approval, you’ll never do anything,” she says. “My advice is super simple: do what your heart tells you. The judgment doesn’t matter. You don’t need to be ‘respectable’ to make a difference.”
