Longstreet Clinic at Northeast Georgia Health System has hired two new OB/GYN providers.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology department has announced Urania Davis, DO, and Heather Laflam, a certified nurse midwife, as the new additions to the team.
Dr. Davis is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than eight years of experience in comprehensive women’s health including advanced gynecologic surgery, prenatal care and interdisciplinary education. Laflam has more than a decade of nursing experience, including four years working as a nurse practitioner in the metro Atlanta area.
“Dr. Davis and Heather are wonderful, experienced additions to our care team,” Longstreet Clinic OB/GYN Brett Barger, MD, said. “From the beginning, certified nurse midwives and physicians at Longstreet Clinic have combined their skills to cover the entire spectrum of OB/GYN care. Our entire team is excited to have them here to help care for our growing community.”
Dr. Davis and Laflam are welcoming new patients at their office in Gainesville, and they have medical staff privileges at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
