Hall nonprofits to share in JEMC grants; Four students hurt in school bus accident

*Seven Hall County nonprofit organizations will share in $57,440 in grants okayed recently by the Jackson EMC (JEMC) Foundation Board of Directors. They are Acceptance Recovery Center, Connectability, Glory Hope & Life, (The Ark) Family Preservation Center, Freedom Path Counseling, United Way of Hall County, and Wellroot Family Service.Click here JEMCO News Archives to read more about each of these agencies by clicking on the April JEMCO News image and scrolling through the issue.

*Four White County students received minor injuries in an accident involving their school bus Tuesday. WRWH reports the accident happened at Georgia 115 and Georgia 284. Ten students were on the bus. The injured, middle- and high school-age, were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment. The state patrol said its investigation found that the bus was attempting a left-hand turn when it left the road and struck a ditch.
