The average price of a gallon of gasoline in Hall County and the rest of Georgia had topped the $4.00 mark as of Wednesday, according to AAA.
In Hall County the price was $4.02. All the counties adjacent to Hall had also slipped over the $4.00 mark, except Habersham which squeaked by with a $3.99 average; in Georgia, the price was an even $4.00.
The national average stood at $4.51.
