Hall County Government has launched a three-month trial of “Ask Hall County,” a new feature on the Hall County website designed to help residents and visitors easily connect with county officials and find information.

“We are always looking for ways to better connect with our community and improve communication, transparency and accessibility,” Hall County Communications and Strategic Engagement Manager Sarah Crowe said. “This new tool allows anyone visiting the Hall County website to quickly ask questions, search our website for information or submit their question directly to staff if it’s not found.”

“Ask Hall County,” which is powered byRep’d, a company focused on “humanizing local government,” is located at the bottom left of the homepage of the Hall County website. Users simply click the “Ask Hall County” prompt, enter their question, and receive answers generated by AI technology that searches the website.

“This is a perfect example of how AI can positively support public service,” Crowe said. “And if an answer to a question is not readily available, it will be routed to the Communications Team to ensure a timely and accurate response, sometimes even through a short video message from a County official.”

Hall County staff will monitor analytics throughout the trial period to evaluate the tool’s effectiveness and determine whether to make it a permanent feature on the County website.

To try the new feature, please visit the Hall County website at hallcounty.org.
