The BLITZ Girls Basketball Players of the Week are Lilly Brown (Dawson County) and Maddie Lee (Lumpkin County). Brown won the Fan Vote with 20,824 of the 57,909 total votes. Lee was the BLITZ Pick.
LILLY BROWN – DAWSON COUNTY
Lilly Brown has had a great summer and fall leading up to the season. The Lady Tigers’ sophomore guard averaged 14.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists across two games for Dawson last week. This is her first POW award.
MADDIE LEE – LUMPKIN COUNTY
Maddie Lee has been on the court all school year – going straight from volleyball to basketball. The Lady Indians’ senior guard had a great first outing, leading Lumpkin with 23 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the first game of her senior year. This is her third career POW award.
