With the first round of the football playoffs in full swing, it’s a light basketball schedule on tap for Friday around the area.
The Banks County girls, who finished as Class A Division 1 state runners-up last season, is looking for their first win, traveling to East Hall. Meanwhile it’s the season-opener for both East Hall teams, as the Vikings boys will play host to Cambridge following the girls game.
Union County heads to Towns County in a mountain rivalry while Johnson plays host to West Hall in the Battle of Oakwood.
