TOCCOA, Ga. — Police are investigating a death discovered earlier today at the Toccoa Motel.
According to early reports, motel management attempted to enter one of the rooms and saw a large amount of blood. Officers were called to the scene and found a man dead inside the room.
Investigators say the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no threat to the public at this time.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to assist, and the case remains under active investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
