FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Flowery Branch girls basketball team used a 15-point third quarter to pull away and hold off Johnson in a 39-31 win Tuesday night at home.
Johnson outpaced the Lady Falcons in the second quarter 11-9 to close the gap, 15-14 at halftime.
In the third quarter, Branch outpaced the Lady Knights, 15-9, to grab a 30-23 lead. Johnson outscored Branch 9-7 in the final quarter.
Sidney Crouch led Flowery Branch with 12 points, and Kinley Hawkins added 10.
Harbor Landers scored 14 points to lead the Lady Knights.
