Georgia Update

The Dawgs turned in their most complete performance of the season, defeating Mississippi State in Starkville 41-21. Georgia remained at #5 in the CFP Rankings ahead of their showdown against #10 Texas.

CFP Playoff Odds

Our friends at FanDuel have updated their listed odds to make the College Football Playoffs, which can be found here. Georgia saw their odds to make the CFP go from -500 to -2200. Similarly, Ole Miss odds increased to -3000, and Texas A&M’s odds were taken off the board. Somewhat surprisingly, Alabama’s odds only went from -850 to -1050. Could we see an outsider from the SEC join the field? FanDuel has Texas (+186), Oklahoma (+220), and Vanderbilt (+290) as possibilities.

Upset Special

Clemson (+2 1/2) at #20 Louisville

#19 Virginia (+5 1/2) at Duke

We’re getting weird in the ACC. Clemson has a chance to pull off the mild upset on Thursday night, and Virginia is a bigger dog than anticipated at FanDuel against ACC co-leaders Duke. The Virginia odds have quarterback Chandler Morris’ uncertainty baked in, with the Virginia faithful hoping he’ll be fit to play this weekend.
